CHILI LIMÉ CHICKÉN RECIPE



INGREDIENTS


  • 2 to 2.5 lbs of skin on chicken legs

Marinade:

  • 1/2 cup fresh lime juice
  • 3 teaspoons fresh lime zest
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 4 tablespoons fresh coriander, finely chopped
  • 2 jalapeño, finely chopped
  • 4 garlic cloves, finely chopped
  • 1 tablespoon of honey
  • 2 teaspoons of salt
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder or to taste








DIRECTIONS

  • Rinse the chicken legs, remove the bones, leave the skin on and dry with paper towels. Put aside.
  • Get a large bowl, mixing all the ingredients for the marinade with a whisk. Make sure the marinade is well combined.
  • Add the chicken to the marinade, make sure to stir and coat the chicken well. Leave to marinate for 2 hours.
  • Light the grill, brush a little oil on the surface. Add a little garlic, cilantro and jalapeño from the marinade on the chicken and grill them until they turn golden and charred on both sides. Serve immediately.
