- 8 to 10 cuts of streaky bacon, sufficiently long to fold over the pork 1/2 times.

- Salt and pepper
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 2 tbsp nectar or maple syrup - I incline toward nectar since it is thicker which makes a superior coating
