You’ll Need:

3 tablespoons oil or spread 

1 onion, diced 

2 carrots, diced 

2 stalks celery, diced 

2 cloves garlic, hacked 

1 teaspoon thyme, hacked 

1/4 container flour (or rice flour for gluten free) 

2 containers ham soup or chicken juices 

2 containers milk 

1/2 pounds potatoes, diced little and alternatively stripped 

8 ounces ham, diced 

1 container corn 

salt and pepper to taste 

How to Make:


  1. Warmth the oil in an extensive sauce dish over medium-high warmth, include the onions, carrots and celery and cook until delicate, around 8-10 minutes. 
  2. Blend in the garlic, thyme and flour and cook until the flour is softly seared, around 2-3 minutes. 
  3. Gradually mix in the juices, deglazing the skillet as you go, include the milk and potatoes, heat to the point of boiling, diminish the warmth and stew until the potatoes are delicate, around 10-12 minutes. 
  4. Include the ham and corn, cook until warmed and season with salt and pepper.
